The Spartan Track & Field team had a strong showing at the Manhattanville Quad Meet taking 1st Place in every event they competed in.  Doug Miller won the shot put with a throw of 34ft. 1 in.  Freshman Joseph Capolino was the winner of the 1500 in 4:30 and Meagan Jaskot won the 1500 in 5:15.

The Sprint Medley Relay team of Rosnack Malivert, Frankie Colon, Mike Abelard and George Erazo took 1st place in a time of 3:46.5. The Distance Medley Relay Team of Garvenchy Nicolas, Erazo, Mike Kraus and Matt Buell took 1st place. The 4x400 team of Stephen Dietrich, Erazo, Colon, and Ed Oswald took 1st place as well in a time of 3:44.

On the women's side Gabriela Sloezen took 2nd place in the 200 in a time of 27.4. Keeley Bateman, Jaskot, and Rebecca Fortoul took 1,2,3 in the 800 this past weekend. Ceceilia Pfledging took 3rd place in the 1500 with a time of 5:28. The Lady Spartan 4x400 team of Bateman, Sloezen, Fortoul and Gina Funaro took 1st place in a time of 4:34.

The Spartans next Compete on April 1st at the St. John's Monday meet and then again on April 6th at the Ramapo Roadrunner Invitational.
