St. Thomas Aquinas College's Paige Toothaker has been named the East Coast Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week on Monday, following the Spartans 5-1 week on the diamond.
Toothaker registered a 3-0 record in the week, that included complete game shutout wins over Mercy and D’Youville. Over 22.1 innings, she allowed just 16 hits and two earned runs for a 0.63 ERA. She also struck out 10 hitters on the week.
STAC (13-3, 7-1 ECC) next travels to Queens College for a conference twin bill on Tuesday, April 20 that begins at 2:30 p.m.
