SPARKILL, N.Y. – STAC Softball Head Coach Kristen Sullivan announced the addition of seven new players on Tuesday, including two talented transfer students.
The new recruits, who hail from five different states, figure to help sustain the Spartans’ momentum after logging the most successful season in program history. In 2021, STAC posted 24 wins and reached the East Coast Conference championship round for the first time in the program’s 41-year history.
“This recruiting class will fortify the team with a wide diversity of skills,” said Sullivan. “We will return several key players and the recruits will help fill some important holes. I’m very pleased with the talent we’ve accumulated in the recruitment process.”
Here are profiles of the newest Spartans:
Brooke Biamonte (Wood Ridge, N.J.): Biamonte pitched on the varsity level for three years at Wood Ridge High School and posted double-digit win totals every season. When not on the mound, she was one of the team’s best hitters and played in the outfield.

She batted .444 for Herkimer, which finished 25-6. Prior to attending Herkimer, Victoria excelled for nearby Monroe Woodbury High School.
Amanda Demmerle (Avon, Ohio): Demmerle was named first-team All Conference and All-County to cap off an excellent senior season at Avon High School, which reached the district championship game and finished 19-9.
