The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team lost to Dowling, 6-0 and 4-1.  Joy Ferriello scored the Lady Spartans solo run reaching on a fielders choice with bases loaded.  Megan Sweezy, Sharis Ruiz, Heather Clausen and Caitlin Sherrier each had hits for STAC.

In the 5th inning of game two, Sweezy led off with a single, Sherrier walked and Ruiz single to load the bases.  Sherrier came around to score on Ferriello's at bat. 

The Lady Spartans finished the regular season with an overall record of 15-24 and 10-17 in the ECC.  Clausen led the Lady Spartan offense batting .328 with 39 hits this season and 16 RBI.  Sweezy had a team high 18 RBI including 8 home runs this season.  Sharis Ruiz had 32 hits including 3 triples while Ferriello and Maura Power added 20 and 19 hit respectively.  Ferriello added 14 RBI for the Spartans this season.  Alyssa Cataldo also had 19 hits for STAC including a team high 7 doubles.  Power led the Lady Spartans on the mound with a record of 10-10 and 81 strike outs.
