The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team lost to Dowling College, 11-1 and 5-2.  Heather Clausen went 3-for-5 with an RBI.  Megan Sweezy scored the Spartans two runs in game two with a 2-run home run in the 7th.

In game one, Michelle Sasso drew a walk and then stole second.  Sasso was driven home from an RBI double from Clausen.  Sweezy got the loss on the mound giving up 11 hits and 11 runs, while striking out 5 batters.  Maura Power picked up the loss in game two giving up 5 runs and striking out 7 batters.

STAC will face C.W. Post on Tuesday for a home double header.
