The St. Thomas Aquinas women's softball team lost to C.W. Post 9-0 and 7-1 in today's double header.  Megan Sweezy hit a solo homerun in game two to put the Lady Spartans on the scoreboard.  Alyssa Cataldo went 2-for-3 in game two for STAC. 

STAC struggled in game one as they were held to three hits but could not score.  Michelle Sasso, Joy Ferriello and Maura Power each had a hit for STAC.  Sweezy picked up the loss on the mound for the Lady Spartans. 

Game two was highlighted by Sweezy's solo homer in the 2nd inning.  Cataldo had 2 hits while Heather Clausen and Sharis Ruiz each had a hit for STAC.  Maura Power gave up 7 runs and struck out 6 batters in the loss.

The Lady Spartans will play Bridgeport on Tuesday beginning at 3:30 p.m.
