As a player, Bilko competed at both the club and collegiate levels in Europe and the United States. In Poland, he represented KS Stocznia M&W Darlowo, the West Pomeranian State Team, AZS UWM Olsztyn, and AZS UW Warsaw, capturing multiple state championships and individual awards. Collegiately, he played for Georgetown College, where he earned All-Conference honors, and later Benedictine University Mesa, where he helped lead the Redhawks to a 2023 NAIA National Runner-Up finish and a CalPac Conference Championship.

In addition to his assistant role at STAC, Bilko serves as a Head Coach for the DIGS Boys U-17 National Team. Prior to the 2025–26 season, Coach Damian spent three seasons with Arizona Fear Volleyball Club, coaching boys’ teams from U-13 through U-17 at the national level. He worked one-on-one with top recruits who went on to represent the U.S. Junior National Team, including the nation’s No. 1-ranked opposite in the Class of 2024 (University of Hawai‘i) and the top libero in the Class of 2025 (BYU), along with multiple Division I commits. While in Arizona, he also organized camps focused on libero training. Before his U.S. coaching career, Bilko served as Head Coach of KS Stocznia M&W Darlowo in Poland, guiding the U-18 boys to a silver medal at the state championship and a third-place finish in Poland’s III Professional League while helping his juniors sign professional contracts.

Coach Damian Bilko earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Organizational Behavior, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and a Master of Business Administration from Benedictine University. He holds coaching licenses from both USA Volleyball and the Polish Volleyball Federation (PZPS).
