Sparkill, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Tennis team suffered its third straight defeat, falling to Le Moyne College 6-1 on Sunday at the Riley Family Tennis Courts. STAC slips to 10-7 overall, while the Dolphins improve to 16-1.
Le Moyne opened the contest, taking taking two out of three doubles matches to pick up the first team point. STAC's lone victory in doubles came via the team of Maximilian Kendler and Odysseas Papaioannou, who got the best of their opponents by the score of 7-5.
In singles action, the Knights took five of the six contests to win the team head-to-head matchup. The Spartans only win came at the No. 3 position as Lennart Lehmann beat Peter Hatton 6-3, 6-3.
