On Friday afternoon, the East Coast Conference revealed its 2021-2022 individual sport Scholar Athletes of the Year.
St. Thomas Aquinas College athlete Lennart Lehmann was selected for such distinction, with Lennart earning his academic honors in the sport of Men's Tennis.
Lehmann, the ECC Men's Tennis Elite 19 recipient, and an All-Conference selection after posting a 21-6 singles record, holds a 3.94 GPA as a sophomore Business Administration & Management major. The Dusseldorf, Germany native helped to lead the Spartans to their first-ever ECC Championship and a bid in the 2022 NCAA Men's Tennis Tournament.
