Lennart Lehmann has been named the East Coast Conference Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week on Monday, following the Spartans 2-1 start to the 2021 season, including victories over West Chester University of PA and Daemen College last week.
Lehmann went 3-0 in singles and 2-1 in doubles, as the Spartans kicked off their 2021 campaign with a pair of wins. He won at the No. 1 spot in singles against West Chester and Daemen, before topping Mariano Biblioni of Queens, 6-4, 4-6, 7-5 at the No. 2.
The Spartans host Kutztown University in non-conference action at the Riley Family Tennis Courts on Tuesday, April 20 at noon.
