Lehmann Earns ECC Men's Tennis Player & Rookie of the Year Honors, Roosch Receives All-Conference Accolades

St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Tennis player Lennart Lehmann was named both the East Coast Conference Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year on Thursday, as the league revealed their annual awards, voted on by the conference's coaches. In addition, teammate Kas Roosch was named as an All-Conference selection.

In his first season with the Spartans, Lehmann (Dusseldorf, Germany) posted an 8-2 record at the #1 singles position and a 4-6 mark as both the #2 and #3 doubles teams with partners Alvaro Barranco and Enej Hasicevic. Lennart was named both the ECC Rookie of the Week (April 19) and Player of the Week (April 26), during the 2021 regular season.

Roosch ('s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands), recorded a 6-4 mark at the #2 singles position and a 7-3 record as the #1 doubles team with partner Ivan Laiz in his inaugural season in Sparkill.
