St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Lacrosse player Hayden Gaudette was tabbed as the East Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Monday, following the Spartans pair of contests against USILA-ranked teams #17 Molloy University and #15 Mercy University

Gaudette (Bennington, Vt.) made 32 saves in 84:08 last week, beginning the week with 23 stops vs. 13 goals allowed in 54:08 against Molloy. With STAC trailing 11-3 at the half against Mercy, Gaudette came in and made nine stops vs. eight goals allowed in the second half. The STAC junior goalkeeper also secured four ground balls and a caused turnover on the week. 

STAC (3-9, 0-5) visits crosstown rivals Dominican University on Wednesday, April 23 for a 4:00 p.m. non-conference tilt at O'Brien Field in Blauvelt, New York.
