The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men’s Lacrosse team finished the fall season with an impressive 10-9 win over ECC rival Dominican College. Stars are beginning to emerge for the Spartans. Tyler Senatore (3 Goals) and Briele Caples (6 Goals, 1 Assist), led the way for the Spartan offense. Providing depth in the scoring column were Kevin Alvora (1 Goal) and Thomas Hollway (1 Assist).
Defensively, netminder Ryan Mello made 10 saves in the contest. Several Spartans shined on defense. Christopher Howell, Steven Odam and Nyle Worrell were integral in the defensive midfield. Limiting scoring opportunities and regulars in the clearing game. Robert Cologero, John La Bella and Robert Hornberger helped pace a young defensive unit, coming into their own.
The STAC Men’s Lacrosse team currently is in their 2nd year of competition in the East Coast Conference.
