Monsey, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Ice Hockey team renewed their long-standing rivalry with former MCHC foes, Fordham University, on Friday evening at Sport-O-Rama Ice Rinks in Rockland County.
Despite a furious third period comeback attempt by the Spartans, the visiting Rams would hold on to win 4-3.
STAC drops to 3-1-2 on the season.
Nicholas Delia, Andrew Fenninger and Christopher Smith tallied a goal apiece for the maroon and gold, while Michael Pippo (L, 3-1) got the start in between the pipes for the Spartans and turned aside 36 of 40 shots faced.
