Monsey, N.Y. - In the midst of a four-game homestand, the St. Thomas Aquinas College Ice Hockey team hosted Thomas College on Sunday afternoon at Sport-O-Rama Ice Rinks in Rockland County.
A Tyler Gay overtime, powerplay goal broke a 3-3 tie and gave the visiting Terriers the 4-3 victory over the Spartans.
STAC drops to 3-0-2 on the young season.
Jesse Formica, Nicholas Delia and Jason Desalvo tallied a goal apiece for the maroon and gold, while Theo Morris (OTL, 0-0-2) got the start in between the pipes for the Spartans and turned aside 36 of 40 shots faced.
