Danbury, Conn. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Ice Hockey team picked up its fourth straight victory on Saturday afternoon, besting Western Connecticut State University, 5-2, at the Danbury Ice Arena.
STAC improves to 7-1-2 overall and remains perfect in MCHC action at 5-0.
Christopher Smith and Andrew Fenninger tallied a pair of goals apiece for the Spartans, while teammate Devin Niccoll added to the totals on the scoreboard with a goal of his own. Meanwhile, goaltender Theo Morris (W, 2-0-2) stopped 23 of 25 shots faced to earn his second victory in four tries.
