West Chester, Pa. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Ice Hockey team hit the road for a two-game Keystone State trip, first taking on West Chester University on Saturday evening at the Ice Line Arena in Pennsylvania.
A Max Boehmer overtime goal broke a 4-4 tie and gave the host Golden Rams a 5-4 victory over the Spartans.
STAC drops to 1-0-1 on the young season.
Jeremy Poggi tallied a pair of goals for the maroon and gold, while teammates Christopher Smith and Nicholas Delia also chipped in a goal apiece. Theo Morris (OTL, 0-0-1) got the start in between the pipes for the Spartans and turned aside 14 of 19 shots faced.
