Five Spartans Named To 2026 MCHC All-Star Team

Sparkill, N.Y. - The Metropolitian Collegiate Hockey Conference (MCHC) announced on Friday that Noah Barr, Andrew Fenninger, Gage Parnell, Michael Pippo and Jeremy Poggi will represent St. Thomas Aquinas College at the 2026 MCHC All-Star Game on Sunday, March 1 (4:30 p.m.) at the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, N.J.

Noah Barr (Gr.|RW|Staten Island, N.Y.) - Named to his third All-Star team, Barr tallied 10 goals and 10 assists for 20 points in 16 games played. 

Andrew Fenninger (Jr.|C|New City, N.Y.) - The team leader in goals (23) and power play goals (7) makes his third consecutive All-Star game appearance. The junior center added 23 assists for a total of 46 points in 22 regular season games for the maroon and gold.

Gage Parnell (Fr.|D|Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada) - In his first season for the maroon and gold, Parnell became a top-pair defenseman and logged key minutes for the Spartans. The freshman d-man recorded six goals and 15 assists for 21 points in 21 games regular season games played.

Michael Pippo (Sr.|G|New Rochelle, N.Y.) - The team leader in wins with 11, Pippo posted a record of 11-2-2 with a 3.05 goals against average and a .911 save percentage over 14 games played this season. He also posted a pair of shutouts against Thomas College and U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (Kings Point).

Jeremy Poggi (Sr.|LW|Centereach, N.Y.) - Selected to his first All-Star game, Poggi scored 17 goals and chipped in 30 assists for a team-leading 47 points over 21 games played. The senior left wing also tallied 3 power play goals and a short-handed goal.

No. 2 seed St. Thomas Aquinas College (16-4-2, 11-1 MCHC) faces No. 3 seed SUNY Maritime College (7-7-0, 7-5 MCHC) in the semifinal round of the MCHC postseason tournament, which takes place on Friday, February 20 (8:40 p.m.) at Sport-O-Rama Ice Rinks in Monsey, New York.
