Monsey, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Ice Hockey team wrapped its 2024-2025 home campaign on Sunday afternoon, with a dominant 8-0 Senior Day shutout victory over SUNY Maritime College at Sport-O-Rama Ice Rinks.
STAC improves to 13-7 overall and 9-1 in MCHC play.
Nicholas Delia tallied a pair of goals, while James Guild, Andrew Fenninger, Anthony Prunty, Noah Barr, Jason Desalvo and Christopher Smith also added a goal apiece in the contest. In between the pipes, Michael Pippo (W, 9-5) turned aside all 23 shots faced to earn his first shutout victory of the campaign.
Prior to the MCHC contest, the Spartans honored their graduating senior class; Daniel McKeon, Joey Camporeale, Tim Downs, Noah Barr, Kevin Vitiello, Devin Niccoll, James Tremblay and Sebastiano Vinci with on-ice ceremonies, which included the athletes' families, teammates, coaches and college administrators.
