Six Spartans Named To 2025 MCHC All-Star Team

Sparkill, N.Y. - The Metropolitian Collegiate Hockey Conference (MCHC) announced on Friday that Nicholas Delia, Jason Desalvo, Andrew Fenninger, Michael Pippo, Anthony Prunty and Kevin Vitiello will represent St. Thomas Aquinas College at the 2025 MCHC All-Star Game on Sunday, March 2 (4:30 p.m.) at the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, N.J.

Nicholas Delia (So.|LW/RW|North White Plains, N.Y.) - Named to the All-Star team for a second straight season, Delia tallied 16 goals and 16 assists for 32 points in 16 games played. The sophomore winger also had three power play goals and two short-handed goals among his totals.

Jason Desalvo (So.|LW|New Rochelle, N.Y.) - Posted 19 goals and 32 assists for 51 points in 21 games. The sophomore left wing racked up two power play goals and a short-handed goal among his tallies.

Andrew Fenninger (So.|C|New City, N.Y.) - The team leader in goals (24), assists (36) and points (60). The sophomore center scored two power play goals and a short-handed goal in his second year in maroon and gold.

Michael Pippo (Jr.|G|New Rochelle, N.Y.) - The team leader in wins with nine, Pippo posted a record of 9-5 with a 3.98 goals against average and a .901 save percentage over 14 games played this season. He also posted a 23-save shutout over SUNY Maritime College on February 2.

Anthony Prunty (Fr.|RW|Jefferson, N.J.) - Selected to the All-Star game in his rookie season, Prunty scored 19 goals and chipped in 13 assists for 32 points over 20 games played. The freshman right wing also tallied 3 power play goals and a short-handed goal.

Kevin Vitiello (Sr.|D|Tappan N.Y.) - Named to the All-Star team for the first time in his collegiate career, Vitiello recorded six assists while playing in 20 games for the Spartans on the blue line.

 

2025 MCHC ALL-STARS

 

STAC (14-7, 10-1 MCHC) closes out their 2024-25 regular season schedule at New Jersey Institute of Technology on Tuesday, February 18. The Spartans and Highlanders get underway at 10:15 p.m. inside of the RWJ Barnabas Health Hockey House at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
