KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced Monday the 2023 Division II All-District teams and coaches, recognizing the best men’s collegiate basketball student-athletes and coaches in the division. Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC in NCAA Division II, 80 student-athletes represent the finest basketball players across America.
In recognition of his outstanding 2022-23 season, St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Basketball student-athlete DeVante Jamison has earned selection to the NABC All-East District Second Team.
Jamison helped lead the Spartans to East Coast Conference Regular Season and Tournament Championships, along with an NCAA East Regional appearance in 2022-23, averaging 14.8 points per game and 5.8 assists per game. In recognition of his outstanding junior season, the Dorchester Mass. native was also named ECC First Team All-Conference and a D2CCA Second Team All-Region selections, to go along with his Most Outanding Player of the ECC Tournament honors.
In Jamison's outstanding career to date, he has amassed 624 points, 198 rebounds, 317 assists, and 107 steals and 3 blocked shots in 82 games played, while being a part of three ECC Regular Season Championships, four ECC Tournament titles and four straight NCAA Division II Tourney appearances.
Jamison is also a nominee for All-Met honors, with those distinctions to be determined in the coming weeks.
