St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Basketball player James Patterson was named the East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week, for the sixth time this season on Monday, following the Spartans road contests at Daemen University (L, 83-57) and D'Youville University (W, 93-71).
Patterson (Richmond, Va.) averaged 17.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 0.5 assists, and 1.0 steals in two contests last week. The freshman forward recorded 13 points and seven rebounds against the Wildcats, before posting a 21-point, seven-rebound, one-assist, two-steal effort versus the Saints.
STAC (22-4, 13-1 ECC) returns to Aquinas Hall for its final home contest of the 2023 Regular Season, facing off with Queens College on Wednesday, February 22 at 7:30 p.m. Senior Night festivities honoring teammate Antonio Vendola will take place prior to the contest between the Spartans and Knights.
