St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Basketball player Kyle Pulliam was named the East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week on Monday, following the Spartans sweep of contests against the University of the District of Columbia (100-74) and the College of Staten Island (103-62).
Pulliam (Silver Spring, Md.) averaged 12.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game in the Spartans' last two contests. The freshman guard recorded nine points, eight rebounds, and three assists against the Firebirds, before posting a 15-point, five-rebound, one-assist, two-steal, one-block effort at the Dolphins.
STAC (19-3, 10-0 ECC) heads to Rochester for another ECC matchup, this time with Roberts Wesleyan University, on Wednesday, February 1. Tip-off between the Spartans and Redhawks is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the Voller Athletic Center.
