STAC Men's Basketball Ranked #10 in Initial NCAA Division II East Region Poll

Sparkill, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Basketball team was ranked #10 in the East Region in the first NCAA Division II poll of the season, released on Wednesday, February 16. STAC currently sits at 20-4 and 13-1 in East Coach Conference competition, having just completed a perfect 4-0 week, with wins over Molloy College and Queens College.

STAC has earned bids to NCAA Divison II Men's Basketball Tournament in each of the previous six seasons and stands as the reigning, defending East Coast Conference Regular Season and Tournament Champions.

In the East Region, the Tournament Champions of the ECC, Northeast-10 (NE-10), and Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) each earn an automatic bid to the NCAAs, with the other five bids offered to the remaining top-ranked teams on an "at-large" basis.
