The St. Thomas Aquinas College men's basketball team hosted their first preseason tip-off dinner on Wednesday evening, at Rockland Country Club in Sparkill, NY. Legendary Hall of Fame Coach, Bob Hurley was the key note speaker for the evening. Coach Hurley, is the long time coach of St. Anthony's High School in Jersey City.  

There was a large turnout in support of the Spartans and to raise the excitement for the upcoming season. The 2014-2015 team was introduced and second year Head Coach, Tobin Anderson addressed those in attendance.  

The Spartans will play an exhibition game at St. John's on Saturday, November 8th and also have Division I opponents; Gonzaga and Stony Brook on the schedule this year as part of the 2014 NIT Season Tip-Off.
