Little & Skaggs Cap Outstanding 2024-2025 Campaigns With Ping All-American Recognition

Norman, Okla. - St. Thomas Aquinas College golfers Tanner Little and Nolan Skaggs have been recognized as Division II All-Americans by PING Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) for their outstanding work on the links during the 2024-2025 season.

The Spartans duo helped lead their squad to a fourth place finish at the NCAA Division II Golf Atlantic/East Super Regional Championship in Erie, Pennsylvania, with Nolan Skaggs also qualifying for the NCAA Division II National Championships in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Over the 54-hole, three-day event, Skaggs finished tied for 48th place on the leaderboard, while shooting 72, 73 and 77 for a 6-over par final total of 222.

At the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Super Regional, St. Thomas Aquinas placed fourth, shooting rounds of 307-310-291 in the three-day event, which left them just five shots shy of a team National Championship berth. Individually, Nolan Skaggs led STAC for the regional and finished in third place overall, shooting a total of 216 (70, 76, 70), which was good for even par. Tanner Little (228: 79. 76, 73) +12/T24th, Diego Ocasio (231: 80, 83, 68) +15/T37th, Djaia Darrason (237: 78, 79, 80) +21/T58th and Albin Faelt (248: 81, 79, 88) +32/T80th rounded out the Spartans scoring.

STAC's campaign was highlighted by ten-top 10 team finishes in the regular season, with the Spartans finishing in the top five in nine of those events and placing first at the Post University Eagles Invitational, St. Thomas Aquinas College Spartan Shootout and Columbia University Roar-EE Invitational.

Little and Skaggs were joined by teammates Djaia Darrason and Diego Ocasio as PING All-East Region Team selections, which were announced in May.
