Spartans Climb to Seventh on Day Two of NCAA Super Regionals, as Skaggs Continues To Excel

Erie, Pa. - St. Thomas Aquinas College Golfer Nolan Skaggs continued to maintain his top-10 status on the links Friday by shooting a 76 to come in at 4-over par and sit tied for fifth among individual players, following the second round of the NCAA Division II East/Atlantic Super Regional at the Whispering Woods Golf Club in Erie, Pa. 

As a team, the Spartans shot 310 (+22) on the day to move up one position to No. 7 on the leaderboard, with a two-day total of 617 (+41).

In addition to Skaggs, Tanner Little 76/+4 (T29), Djaia Darrason 79/+7 (T46), Albin Faelt 79/+7 (T62) and Diego Ocasio 83/+11 (T72) rounded out the Spartans' scoring in day two action.

STAC will tee off on Saturday, May 10th beginning at 11:00 a.m., as the tournament enters its final day of competition and an East/Atlantic Super Regional Champion is crowned.
