Spartan Golf Ranked Second in Latest NCAA East Region Polls
The St. Thomas Aquinas College Golf team has recently been ranked second in the latest NCAA Division II East Region poll.

After concluding the 2021 fall semester finishing fourth (twice), third, eighth and fifth in five invitationals, the Spartans began their spring season with an eighth place finish at the Wingate University J. Ralph Hargett Invitational and then followed that up with a first place finish at the Dominican College Charger Challenge to round out the month of March. In April, STAC took 13th at the Barry University Battle At The Shores and 12th at the NCAA Regional Showcase, before closing out their regular season schedule by winning the Mercyhurst University Spring Invitational.

St. Thomas Aquinas will return to action on May 5-7 when the Spartans participate in the NCAA Atlantic/East Super Regional for a 19th consecutive year, which in 2022 will be held at the Ravenwood Golf Club in Victor, New York

The top four teams and the top student-athlete not with a team from each regional will advance to the finals May 16-20 at TPC Michigan in Dearborn, Michigan. The National Championship will be hosted by Wayne State University and the Detroit Sports Commission.
