Division II PING All-Region honorees have been announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). Over 100 players across eight regions - East, Atlantic, Southeast, South, Midwest, South Central, Central and West - earned all-region honors for 2021.
Spartans Shkelqim Kukaj, Joseph Tammaro, Sean Trapp, Norman Viron and Jake Yarmolowitz were selected to the East Region Team. All five men played integral rolls in the Spartans outstanding season, which included a second place finish at the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regional and a trip to the NCAA Division II National Championship.
The 2020-2021 season was a huge success for St. Thomas Aquinas College, despite a late start to the Spring season due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic. The Spartans finished in the top 5 in all of their regular season events during their shortened 2021 schedule. Highlights of the year include; STAC winning the LeMoyne College Mike Bello Invitational, the College of Saint Rose Invitational and the Wykagyl Shootout versus Concordia College, while taking a fourth place finish at the Mercyhurst Invitational.
