St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Field Hockey athlete Floortje Beune has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week, following the Spartans 2-0 week, which included victories over the University of New Haven and Saint Michael's College to run their current winning streak to five games.
Beune (Fr./Weesp, Netherlands) recorded two goals and two assists in Spartans 4-2 victory over New Haven at Spartan Field on October 25.
STAC (8-6, 6-3 NE10) returns to action on Wednesday, November 2 for a 3:30 p.m. NE10 road tilt with Adelphi University at Motamed Field in Garden City, N.Y.
