Sparkill, N.Y. - The Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL) announced its 2025 all-conference and major award winners on Tuesday, highlighted by four student-athletes taking home major awards for the recently completed season. The nominating and voting for the awards was conducted by the league's nine head coaches in the sport.
Nine St. Thomas Aquinas College Sprint Football players were selected for All-Conference accolades. Trevon Washington and Ethan Hence earned First Team honors, while Josh Hums garnered Second Team kudos and Spartans Ibrahim Conteh, Daniel Cruz III, Brandon Jimenez, Armando Medley, Prince Alvarado and Luigi Biondolillo each received Honorable Mention status by the league.
STAC posted a 2-6 overall record (2-2 CSFL North) during the 2025-2026 campaign.
CSFL All-Conference First-Team Offense
Trevon Washington (Fr./Conway, S.C.) - Kick Returner
- In his first year in Sparkill, Washington returned seven kicks for 277 total yards, while averaging 39.6 yards per return. He ran back a pair of kicks for touchdowns, with his longest going for 95 yards against the University of Pennsylvania.
CSFL All-Conference First-Team Defense
Ethan Hence (Sr./Houston, Texas) - Defensive Back
- Hence placed second on the Spartans with 71 total tackles (33 solo, 38 assisted), averaging a team-high 10.1 tackles per contest. He also registered a sack and two forced fumbles on the year.
CSFL All-Conference Second-Team Offense
Josh Hums (Fr./River Edge, N.J.) - Offensive Line
- Hums helped solidify the maroon and gold offensive line in his rookie season, providing protection for his quarterbacks and opening running routes for his backs and receivers.
CSFL All-Conference Honorable Mention Defense
Ibrahim Conteh (Sr./Mount Vernon, N.Y.) - Defensive Line
- Conteh finished third on the team in total tackles with 60 (31 solo, 29 assisted), while dropping opposing quarterbacks for 4.5 sacks. He also returned an interception 24 yards for a score against Cornell.
Daniel Cruz III (So./Bronx, N.Y.) - Defensive Line
- Cruz III racked up 41 total tackles (19 solo, 22 assisted), while also sending opposing quarterbacks to the turf for 1.5 sacks. He also forced a pair of fumbles during the year.
Brandon Jimenez (Jr./West New York, N.J.) - Linebacker
- Jimenez led the defense corps with 76 total tackles (35 solo, 41 assisted) on the season, and was also responsible for 1.5 sacks and a pair of forced fumbles himself.
Armando Medley (Fr./Kingston, N.Y.) - Linebacker
- Medley rounded out the top-five tacklers on the 2025 STAC squad with 44 total tackles (29 solo, 15 assisted). He also accumulated a forced fumble and an interception.
Prince Alvarado (Jr./New Rochelle, N.Y.) - Defensive Back
- Alvarado recorded 36 total tackles (22 solo, 14 assisted) and two interceptions for the Spartans during the most recent campaign.
Luigi Biondolillo (Fr./Staten Island, N.Y.) - Defensive Back
- Biondolillo ranked fourth on the team in total tackles with 53 (29 solo, 24 assisted), while also picking off two passes and recovering a fumble in his rookie campaign.
