Sparkill/Staten Island, N.Y. - Former St. Thomas Aquinas College Baseball shortstop Andrew Jemison has signed a contract with the Staten Island FerryHawks of the Atlantic League, following his five-year collegiate career as a member of the Spartans.
Jemison will join the FerryHawks in York Pennsylvania, as the team opens an eight-game road trip against the York Revolution (June 27-29) and the Long Island Ducks (June 30-July 3).
Andrew Jemison put together a solid 2023 season for STAC, hitting .309, with 16 doubles, 20 RBIs and 39 runs scored in 46 contests. He also swiped 13 of 14 bases on the year.
Jemison also reached the 200-career hits mark as a Spartan on April 2, 2023 against Mercy College.
Over his five seasons (2018-2023) in maroon and gold, the Monroe, N.Y. native amassed a .321 batting average, with 55 doubles, 8 triples and 3 home runs, while driving in 120 runs and scoring another 150.
Andrew's individual awards, honors and accolades were numerous during his five-year career as a Spartan, including:

For fans wishing to see former Spartan Andrew Jemison in action, the Staten Island FerryHawks play their home games out of Staten Island University Hospital Community Ballpark on Staten Island and will travel to face local Atlantic League opponent; Long Island Ducks (Fairfield Properties Ballpark - Central Islip, N.Y.).
