Kevon Evans, Ronaldo Rodriguez Perez, Clemence Papleux and Adriana Zarceno were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for September.

Ronaldo Rodriguez Perez (Fr.|Monroe, N.Y.) helped guide his team to a pair of first place victories, along with fourth and fifth place finishes in four races during the first month of the 2025 season. At the Long Island University Fall Festival, Rodriguez Perez finished 23rd overall in the 8k event with a time of 29:48.1, before placing second in the Mount St. Mary College Invite in a time of 27:32.9 and 14th in the Bard College Fred Pavlich Invitational, clocking in at 29:19.7. In his final race of the month, Ronaldo came in second in the Caldwell University Cougar Chase Invite, crossing the finish line with a time of 29:45.9.
In recognition of his exceptional times and finishes on the race course, Rodriguez Perez earned ECC Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week honors on September 16 and 30, along with Runner of the Week accolades on September 23.
