Darwin Almonte, Marcus Franck, Jordan Green and Jona Kabashi were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for February.
Jona Kabashi, Women's Basketball:
Jona Kabashi (Fr.|G/F|Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.) averaged 13.0 points and 6.0 rebounds in seven contests during the month of February. Kabashi also had four assists, six steals and two blocked shots, while shooting 44.2% (34-of-77) from the field and 74.1% (20-of-27) from the foul line.
In recognition of her work on the hardwood, Jona took home East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week honors on February 23.
