Michael Pippo, Christopher Jones, Ebba Rosberg and Nicola Van Vuuren were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for October.
Nicola Van Vuuren: Field Hockey
Nicola Van Vuuren recorded six goals during the month of October. Her ability to find back of the net was especially evident against both Molloy University on October 2 and Mercy College on October 19 , when she recorded two goals in each match.
The sophomore forward from Pretoria Gauteng, South Africa, registered 28 shots (18 on goal) over the nine games she participated in for the Spartans.
