Sarah Ericson, Jasmijn Van Drunen, James Patterson and Jeremy Poggi were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for November.
James Patterson, Men's Basketball:
James Patterson averaged 17.7 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game in seven contests during the month of November. The freshman guard/forward from Richmond, Va. also had seven steals, while shooting 43.9% (36-of-82) from the field, 36.4% (4-of-11) from three and 75.0% (30-of-40) from the foul line.
In recognition of his outstanding play on the hardwood, Patterson was named the ECC Rookie of the Week on November 14 and 21, along with Player of the Week on the 21st.
