Elita Silins: Women's Tennis
Elita Silins went 8-3 in doubles competition and 8-0 in Singles play for the Spartans during the month of October.
The freshman from Northampton, England played an integral part of her team's record-breaking season, as her victories helped power STAC to an 9-1 record in October, including an nine-match win streak (10 unbeaten), which pushed St. Thomas Aquinas to the semifinals of the ECC Women's Tennis Championship Tournament.
The East Coast Conference recognized Silins for her outstanding abilities on the court as their Rookie of the Week on October 12, 18 & 25.
