Grant Singleton, Antonio Vendola, Alexa Huertas and Julia Reggio were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for February.
Grant Singleton, Men's Basketball:
Singleton averaged 17.1 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game in twelve contests during the month of February. The junior guard from Sumter, SC also had 16 steals and 1 blocked shot, while shooting 52.8% (75-of-142) from the field, 42.0% (29-of-69) from three and 76.5% (26-of-34) from the foul line.
Grant was recognized on for his outstanding play on the court by both the East Coast Conference and Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association, as he was named the Player of the Week on February 8th and 9th respectively.
