Leanna Iobbi, Lennart Lehmann, Alex Mack and Amanda Schweitzer were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for April.
Alex Mack, Baseball:
Alex Mack posted a perfect 3-0 record in three starts, with a 0.43 earned run average; giving up only 14 hits and 3 runs (1 earned run), while walking 1 batter and striking out another 26 in 21.0 total innings pitched during the month of April.
The graduate student pitcher from Cornwall, N.Y. held opposition batters to a .182 batting average and had a 0.71 WHIP during this time period.
As a result of his outstanding performances on the mound, Mack was named the ECC Pitcher of the Week on April 19.
