Jennifer Farrell, Amanda Castro, Anthony Maisano and Tyler Senatore were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for March.
Jennifer Farrell, Women's Lacrosse:
Farrell tallied 17 goals on 28 shots (24 on goal) and 8 assists in four contests during the month of March. Her ability to find the back of the net placed her second on the team in scoring with 36 points to end the shortened season. Jennifer also had 1 successful draw control, 4 ground balls, 2 caused turnovers and went 5 for 7 (71.4%) from the 8-meter line during that stretch.
The graduate student midfielder from Valley Cottage, N.Y. paced the Spartans to a 2-2 overall record in the month, including victories over Caldwell (23-12) and Chestnut Hill (19-6), and in recognition of her terrific on-field play, was named the ECC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week on March 9th.
