Ruth Adams and Osbel Caraballo were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for January.
Osbel Caraballo, Men's Basketball:
Caraballo averaged 18.1 points and 7.9 rebounds per game in eight contests during the month of January. The sophomore forward from Bolivar, Venezuela also had 15 assists, 4 steals, and 4 blocked shots, while shooting 56.1% (55-98) from the field, 50.0% from three (3-6) and 70.0% (32-46) from the foul line.
Osbel was honored for his outstanding play on the hardwood by the East Coast Conference with Player of the Week honors on January 6th.
