Ruth Adams and Osbel Caraballo were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for January.
Ruth Adams, Women's Basketball:
Adams averaged 14.0 points and 4.4 rebounds per game in seven contests during the month of January. The redshirt senior guard from San Diego, CA also had 15 assists, 19 steals and 5 blocked shots, while shooting 53.0% (36-68) from the field, 45.5% (5-11) from three and 70.0% (21-30) from the foul line.
Ruth was recognized on for her exceptional play on the court by the East Coast Conference, as Adams was named Defensive Player of the Week on January 13th.
