Luis Morales and Nicole Rivera were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for September.
Luis Morales, Men's Soccer:
Luis recorded 6 goals and 1 assist during the first month of the regular season. His ability to find his way to the net has certainly paid off, and was especially the case when he scored 3 goals (2 on penalty kicks) against Goldey Beacom College on September 7th.
Morales, a sophomore from Port Chester, NY, registered 24 shots, with 14 of those going on goal over the 7 games he participated in during this time period.
As a result of his stellar play, Luis was named the ECC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week on 9/19.
