Robert Guidicipietro and Meaghan Ventarola were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for October.
Robert Guidicipietro, Men's Cross Country:
Guidicipietro was the top finisher for his team in two out of three races for the Spartans during October. A 2nd overall finish (26:14.7) at the Paul Short Invitational in Bethlehem, PA, helped guide him and his teammates to a ninth place team finish.
The freshman from Staten Island, NY posted a time of 26:34.7, which was good for a 7th overall finish in the East Coast Conference Championships in Rochester, New York. The team took home a 2nd place team finish with Robert's help.
Guidicipietro was tabbed as a First Team All-Conference selection at the East Coast Conference Championships and was selected on October 11th as the ECC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
