Spartan sophomore catcher, Amanda Leone, has been named the East Coast Conference Player of the Week.  Valerie Winalski, a freshman outfielder earned Rookie of the Week honors.

Leone batted .526 through eight games to guide the Spartans to a 6-2 week. She had a hit in all but one game going 10-for-19 for the week with five RBI and four runs. The sophomore had one home run and two doubles this week. 

Winalski batted .313 with five hits, four RBI, and four runs including one double.
