Pittston, Pa. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Ice Hockey team erupted for nine goals on Saturday afternoon, as the maroon and gold downed York College of Pennsylvania, 9-3 on day two of the ACHA Showcase at Revolution Ice Centre.
STAC improves to 5-4 overall on the year with the victory.
Andrew Fenninger and Jason Desalvo each tallied hat-tricks, while Noah Barr scored twice and James Guild also added to the totals on the stat sheet with a goal for the maroon and gold.
Goalie Theo Morris (W, 3-1) got the start between the pipes for the Spartans and made 16 saves.
