The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team beat Indiana Tech, 7-4 on Thursday.  Rachel Hannawalt and Katie Meyers went 2-for-4 for STAC.  Hannawalt added 2 RBI and 2 runs and Meyers had 1 RBI.  Sharis Ruiz went 2-fro-3 and scored 2 runs.  Maura Power picked up her second win of the week with 7 strike outs. 

The Lady Spartans fell behind early as Tech took a 3-0 lead in the 1st.  Heather Clausen hit an RBI single in the bottom of the inning to put the Lady Spartans on the scoreboard.  Hannawalt's 2 RBI double in the 3rd tied the game up at 3-3.  Hannawalt scored on a wild pitch to give STAC the lead and they did not look back. 

The Lady Spartans added a run in the 6th behind a Sweezy RBI double to left center and notched two more in the 6th, highlighted by a Meyers RBI single down the right field line.
