The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team lost to Dowling, 2-0 and 7-0 yesterday.  In game one, Sharis Ruiz went 2-for-3 while Angela Squillini and Michelle Sasso each had a hit.  In game two, Heather Clausen and Kelsey George each had a hit for STAC.

Freshman Samantha Welsh picked up the loss in game one going 7 innings with 5 hits, 2 runs and 5 strike outs.  Fellow freshman Maura Power had the loss in the second game giving up 11 hits, 7 runs and 1 strike out.

The Lady Spartans will play Molloy College today on STAC's home field.  STAC will be the away team for todays final game of the season.
