St. Thomas Aquinas College improved their Learfield Directors’ Cup standings point total for the 2016-2017 academic year. The Spartans took the 102nd spot in the standings, compiling 212.00 total points.

The Learfield Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution’s finish in up to 14 sports in Division II – seven men’s and seven women’s.
St. Thomas Aquinas College racked 73 points in the Winter and 139 points in the Spring.
ECC Commissioner's Cup winner LIU Post was the conference’s top finisher, coming in at No. 30 overall with a total of 441.00 points.
